About

Justin Stine received his Bachelor of Science degree from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in physics and mathematics in May 2014. He then attained his Masters of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland in the summer of 2019. His previous research experience involved modeling the effects of varying dissipation profiles for accretion discs of X-ray binaries. He joined the University of Maryland, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in fall, 2015 to pursue his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and joined MSAL in spring, 2017. His current research interests are in developing a real-time wireless capsule microsystems for bioprocess monitoring in industrial bioreactors and inflammatory marker detection in the gastrointestinal tract.
